A Division of CEL Distributors 80 Portland Road, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman IslandsThis warranty applies to HVAC equipment, parts, and accessories (“Products”) sold by CEL Cooling & Supply (“CEL”). CEL is an authorized wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment, and the coverage described in this document reflects the terms provided by the original equipment manufacturer (“Manufacturer”) for each Product distributed by CEL.This document provides a general summary to help customers and contractors understand warranty coverage, duration, maintenance requirements, and exclusions.1. Scope of Coverage
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship strictly within the body of the Product itself, including the internal components of the equipment or part.Coverage applies only to Products that are properly installed, operated, and maintained according to the Manufacturer’s installation and operation manuals and applicable local codes.Warranty Coverage Includes:
- Replacement of defective internal parts only.
- Replacement parts may include new OEM parts, universal non-OEM parts, or parts removed from another working machine and in good operating condition, at CEL’s discretion.
Warranty Coverage Does Not Include:
- Labor or repair costs.
- Diagnostic time.
- Removal and reinstallation costs.
- Travel expenses.
- Freight and duty charges unless waived by CEL.
- Refrigerant, ancillary materials, or incidental costs unless specifically stated.
2. Coverage Periods by Manufacturer and Product Category
The terms below reflect the coverage provided for Products distributed by CEL Cooling & Supply. “Parts” refers to functional components other than the compressor. “Compressor” refers to the compressor only. Where no separate compressor term is listed, the compressor is covered under the standard parts term only.

Mitsubishi Electric Extended Warranty
An extended 10-year parts and 10-year compressor warranty is available, but applies only when the system is installed, commissioned, and registered with Mitsubishi Electric by a Mitsubishi Diamond Certified installer.
The standard terms in the table above apply to all other installations.
3. Warranty Registration
Registration is mandatory for all equipment sold by CEL Cooling & Supply. No warranty coverage is valid unless the equipment has been properly registered.Registration Requirements:
- Register at the time of installation.
- Complete all applicable registration sections, including required photos.
- Provide accurate installation date, model number, serial number, and installing contractor information.
- Installation must be completed by a licensed air conditioning contractor.
4. Required Maintenance and Care
Manufacturer warranties require routine maintenance to be performed and documented.Required Maintenance Includes:
- Air filters inspected monthly and replaced or cleaned according to Manufacturer guidelines.
- Indoor and outdoor coils maintained clean and free from debris, dust, and vegetation.
- Condensate drains and pans inspected and cleared regularly.
- Refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and safety controls checked annually by a licensed contractor.
- Outdoor units and line sets protected from corrosion according to Manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintenance invoices and service records retained as proof.
5. Exclusions
The following conditions are excluded from warranty coverage:- Improper installation or installation not following Manufacturer instructions.
- Installation not performed by a licensed air conditioning contractor.
- Lack of required maintenance.
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents.
- Damage caused by fire, flood, lightning, storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, or other natural events.
- Corrosion caused by salt air, chemical fumes, or industrial pollutants.
- Electrical damage caused by power surges or improper electrical supply.
- Normal wear items including filters, belts, fuses, batteries, and cosmetic conditions.
- Freight or transit damage not reported at delivery.
- Products with altered or missing serial numbers.
- Equipment relocated or reinstalled without authorization.
- Incorrect voltage supply or electrical mismatch.
- Damage caused by pests, rodents, insects, or vermin.
- Incorrect equipment sizing or mismatched capacity.
- Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.
6. Making a Warranty Claim
To Submit a Warranty Claim:
- Contact CEL Cooling & Supply or the installing contractor when a defect is suspected.
- Diagnosis must be completed by a licensed air conditioning contractor.
- Provide model number, serial number, proof of purchase, installation date, and maintenance records.
